Number Match Rules: Lines, Diagonals, Row Ends, and Deals
A legal Number Match move depends on both the digits and the path between them. Use this reference to check every supported connection before spending a deal.
Match equal digits or make ten
A pair is valid when both digits are equal or their sum is exactly ten. The value rule is the same in every difficulty.
- 7 can pair with 7
- 3 can pair with 7
- 5 can pair with another 5
Keep the path clear
The two cells must share one supported route, and every position between them must already be empty.
- Horizontal and vertical straight lines
- Either straight diagonal direction
- The end of one row to the beginning of the next
Understand deals and difficulty
A deal copies every active digit in reading order to the end of the board. It creates new boundaries but also makes the board longer and resets the combo.
- Beginner: 36 opening digits, five deals
- Standard: 40 opening digits, five deals
- Challenge: 45 opening digits, four deals
